Can i buy too big of a protein skimmer

This is one of those hobbies where people think they have to spend the big bucks to get the best equipment, which I somewhat agree with. Lighting, Starfire tanks etc... but skimmers are another story... I would run my Coralife head to head with any skimmer on the market

lol, hes getting a skimmer for a 55 gallon tank. hes not skimming the local aquarium.
i too use the coralife super skimmer. i use the 65 model on my 30 gal tank, and it pulls out amazing amounts of gunk. if i was you, i would look into the coralife super skimmer, but the one thats rated for a 125 gallon.

The 125 is an all-around great size for most tanks. I'm running 4 of them. Frag tank, LR curing pond, DT and 2nd DT.

ASM = cheap plastic = can break easy!
EuroReef = high quality acrylic = built to last!
anyone got a bubbleking??
