I think
this is a toad stool, if im wrong please let me know. I want to cut and move this coral away from my BTA. Can it be cut at the bottom and glued(out of glue duck tape) it to another rock with out hurting it? If so what should I use(razor blade) and I asume another one will grow back in time

duct tape???? NO
You can cut it at the base with a very sharp razor...knife...whatever
If you do not have super glue gel, you can take a rubber band and hold it to the rick with that
duct tape...NO LOL

After cutting it, you can also, stick a toothpick in a hole in the rock, and push the coral onto the toothpick. This will hold the coral in place until it attaches itself.
I find softies to be difficult to glue, so toothpicks or loose fitting rubberbands are better to use.
If you use a rubberband, keep it loose so as not to crush the coral, just enough to hold it in place. If it is too tight, the piece under the rubberband will die.

+1/2 on the toothpicks...LOL....The reason I say 1/2....and not 1 is cause with all the leather frags I have done recently.....50% with the toothpicks worked

you might try peeling it off the rock, if you cut it, what is left on the rock will regrow. Unless that what you are looking for.

lol That means you only did 1/2 of them right! j/k
You can also do rubberband with toothpick (and frag plug) Pierce the toothpick thru the coral. Lay it sideways on frag plug. Put rubberband over one end of tooth pick, wrap under frag plug
and put on wrap over other end of toothpick. If you have to double/triple this procedure, all the better.
Once again, you want it just tight enough to hold the coral in place, but not squish the coral under toothpick.
