Never kept a salmon in my tank. tuff to get that up stream thing going
But it you want some facts. The Kole tang was in fact the food of royalty in Hawaii and if a commoner was caught eating on they were beheaded

OK, apart from the clear stupidity of this question, remember:
MANY marine fish are poison! (Puffers, lions etc.) If you eat your pufferfish and die, it is a perfect example of natural selection... (If you don't believe in natural selection in humans ask yourself this. "Ever see a kid who has lost both eyes to a BB gun?")

If you believe in natural selection, why the warning? That, in my opinion, is a big problem in the world. Lots of people believe in natural selection, but nobody wants the stupid people to die.

(No offense, King_Neptune, just making a joke.)

Not really sure if you are serious, but you have given me a good laugh tonight when I am stuck at the office so you are OK in my books...

I belive that "either" is a common, southern colloquialism for the juvenile snipe. They very rarely come out of their caves, and are captured by only the most experienced snipe hunters.

Absolutely you can eat them...

Everyone's harping on the costs, which is a no brainer, but in a survival situation, everything moving in your tank is fair game. You should know your species, but most everything that us hobbyist imprison is edible.
