That sounds like the exact same mixture I feed my leopard and bamboo. Jim27 is right, they will LOVE it. Although mine seem very partial to the octopus, and my bamboo wont eat the muscles. That bag of food is a great deal compared to LFS prices!

The only concern that I had, was I was not sure if any of it was cooked, it did not say so on the bag. Is there a difference between squid and calamari, I don't think so. The frozen squid I bought at the fish store for a million bucks, sinks to the bottom right away, this stuff seems to float. How can I get it to sink?

Your right, squid and calamari are the same thing.
My bag didn't say either, but it all certainly appeared raw. Plus the instructions were for cooking, not heating so gave it a try. I used a rather primitive test to tell if the squid was cooked, I bit it! :D Cooked is very rubbery. I would say the reason yours floats is because it has been frozen and there is air trapped in it. I don't know if mine floats, I always use either tongs, or a feeding stick.

Deuce have you tried a local bait store I don't know how far you are from the coast. But here on the west coast of florida seafood(bait) is cheaper then any LFS. HTH Tom

Hello ... Iam a proud new owner of a hatched banded shark, does any one have any suggestions on feeding, fish to avoid, and environment for the new banded shark. How long before I should try to feed the young new fella..
