greenhorn Member Jan 12, 2008 #2 from what i've read on here it's best to remove it . if you drop it back in it can do harm to corals and such. especially if a clump lands directly on them.

dmjordan Active Member Jan 12, 2008 #3 just use a damp cloth to pick up and remove any salt creep. try not to knock it back into the tank.
