well im doing hypo i the dt. iv been able too keep it dorment for a few months but once i took my eel out it stressed every one out and boom iv got an out break. i have all live rock and invirts in my qt and my macros now. i lefts a peice of live rock in the tank to help with bio filtration.
Have made up hypoed water prepared just in case you see any cycle issues. Obviously, live rock is a major natural filter for you tank, which is no longer there.
Yes. Hypo does not effect treatment until the parasite cycles to the free-swimming stage. That means after the parasites have fallen off fish, settled on tank surfaces, then becomes free swimming.
