Can I put any stings in my 55 reef??

I wouldn't worry too much, Krista...every once in awhile, you'll get a "slow weaner", but they generally come around with persistence. Our little yellow morph fuzzy was a PITA, but now it's a typical hungry-all-the-time fuzzy.
Perhaps you can get a shrimp suit and do a weaning dance for the fish prior to mealtime...

I have the fuzzy trained to eat from feeding tongs. I already had them on hand, so I started feeding him ghost shrimp from the tongs. Next step frozen.

Fantastic Krista, just be careful if he gets a bad bite off the tongs it might turn him off any stick, add small pieces of salmon or shrimp with the ghost shrimp, once he gets used to the stick when he sees it he will know it is food coming. Great progress.

He did attack the tongs already, but that has not phased him. I'm going to try some other foods during the next feeding.
Here is a pic of him:

That's a pretty fish you have there, Krista...gorgeous markings.
Congrats on hanging in there on the weaning!

My poor fuzzy has tattered fins. :( My stupid dotty back has been harassing him and my clowns. The dottyback was evicted last night. I did see the fuzzy spit water for the first time and act like a shark with its spines out of the water.

And peeps wonder why I dislike clownfish so much...nasty critters. I feel safer working on our tanx with all venomous fish than I do working on a clownfish tank.
Sorry you're having trouble.

I've played in a lot of lionfish clubs, and you can just "tell"...
Actually, if you look at the pectoral banding (number of dark bands), head size (small), and pectoral fin sweep (don't extend into the caudal peduncle), they all point to your fish being a female.
