can i save this tank??

ok well after my leak we had to rush and i guess the tank got bumped or something. but the dent is where the overflow is so theres only going to be water up to like half of the dent.. so is there anything i should do?

yeah but i wouldnt chance it that is an awful big ding...how did it get hit?

idk i guess just from moving it when i had to get it off the stand to get my leaking sump out

You should be fine, my 58g reef tank has a dent just like that in the front and it does not leak here is mine not the best pic but here you go.

ya it may not leak now BUT with all the stress on the rest of the tank bcus of the dent one day it might just crack..

I dought it because it does not go all the way through the tank so I think it should be alright. Even if it do I will be upgrading before it happens as soon as I find somebody to buy my eel.

Over a long period of time the stress and pressure put on that joint would definitely crack that tank. Now whether thats 3 months of 13 years is a different story.
