Can i use chrushed oster shells as bedding

hey all
my ? is that i have access to a whole lot of oster shells and wanted to know if they would have a benifical effect on a fish only aquarium. if you wqould please let me know asap.. thank you

i think it might trap to much "STUFF" and you would have problems in the long run... so i would vote no...

Yet i was planning to crush to fine as i can get it and then add to the tank..

it might be ok... mostly just be care full that stuff dose not get in there... also that you like the look.. i started with CC and now have sand.. what i mess... i wish that i started with sand as it is hard to move everthing and not to desterb every thing... good luck
