can i use a 24" light for a 29 gal tank?

You should be able to. The 29 gallon tank is usually 30" long.
What are the dimensions of the tank?
What are you planning to do?

From my understanding... I believe 4 watts per gal is good but more is better.
I only have 2w/gal and ive been told that its possible, but the anemones wont last very long. Only a few months tops.
I'll wait on the anemone until I can upgrade my lights...
Until then, if I am incorrect, somebody please correct me.

the whole whats per gallon doesnt work too much, im not to sure but i believe that it could very well be possible i think its a 103watt on a 29gal right?
