after doing some googling, i read about the getting your clowns to host by taping a picture of, ive heard of a predator, or other clowns hosting. And that wil help them host, could that really work?

Placebo effect. Probably 'worked' for a few people. They taped that picture to their tank, and sure enough the clown went to the anemone. How does anyone really know it's the picture that caused it and not happenstance or just the clown's own natural instincts kicking in?

What finally set mine off was an idea someone gave on here. They chased the clowns around with a couple nets and when they went by the nem, left it alone so it associated it with safety. I used the magnet cleaner i have along with a gravel sifter. Cleaned the glass and chased with the sifter. When they got anywhere around the nem, I stopped completely. Did this for about 8 mins. That night, they slept in the anemone and have been living there ever since.
They had started showing some interest in it b4, but very minimal. May work, may have just been a lucky coincidence. Either way, it could give the affect of something more aggressive without the danger of actually having them get hurt.

Mine too! It was still in my hand heading to the bottom when the clown nipped me and swam in when I pulled my hand back and rode it to the sand, lol. Only one of my clowns "uses" it, it practically kills the other for getting too close.

I dont kow if this has anything to do with the pic but, ive noticed ove the past few days my orange clown has actually been brushing his tail up against my BTA, and it actually swam its whole body around in it for a few seconds. Im not expecting much, but seems like a start

FEED! Feed them near the coral, it might help.

I've seen this work a few times. chase the clowns to the anemone with a net and hold em there for a moment when we did this we left plenty of room for the clown to get out of the net but the second he touched the anemone he was hooked. just try not to stress the fish out too much about it like I said it was just getting him into place and holding him there long enough to feel it.
