I recently installed a Coralife Superskimmer on my 46 gal fowlr. I am using the HOB application. Despite the microbubble difuser, there are still some microbubbles in my tank. They do not really cloud the display, as they are barely noticible unless you are right in front of the tank.
My question- Is there any harmful effects on the fish to have these microbubbles in the main tank? I have heard that they could lead to Pop Eye. Is this true?
One chain LFS here in town does not have a diffuser coming off of there skimmer and it produces copius amounts of microbubbles, so I am hoping that they do not lead to problems.
Thanks in advance for any info.
