Hello all!
Just curious to see if Puffers (specifically Hawaiian Spotted Puffer) can be added with yellow tang, sailfin tang, 2 hippo, 2 clowns, fire angel, 6 chromis, six line wrasse, 2 cleaner shrimp, sand sifting starfish, various snails, and various corals.
i have a 120g.
any information is appreciated!

Puffers eat snails and shrimp and probably the starfish, they've been known to nip at Corals. Should be fine with the fish though.

That puffer shouldn't mess with any of the things you have but it might nip at corals and could eat shrimps, snail, crabs, etc. and it might hurt you chromis. but it should work in that big of a tanks. hope that helps.

Sometimes toby puffers work with inverts decently, but just be prepared for the puffer to eat things, such as your shrimp and snails (especially since they are kinda built that way, with the pointy mouth).

seems like a lot of tangs in the tank are u going to keep them forever or trade them in after they are too big or what? not saying you have to get rid of them imo its not THAT many why 2 hippos tho?

In a tank your size that's probably a bit to many IMO unless you plan on upgrading sometime in the future. All of the tangs you have do get pretty big.

i love tangs too!!! too bad they get so big and need so much room and give off a lot of waste...
anyways i would say just get rid of the 1 hippo then u still have all the different types of tangs to look at
