Can red lipped blenny live with bicolored blenny?

I presently have a bicolored blenny in my 90gal reef. I fell in love with the red lipped blenny and wondered if both could coexist in the same tank. I heard they would fight from the LFS and didn't make the purchase. :notsure:

I bet it was hard not to buy good job on holding back. I've read alot on the blenny & everything I've read is you shouldnt have 2 blennys in the same tank. (which I'm sure if you have a large enough tank you could get away with it.) My brother has a 125 gal & couldnt keep 2 they both stressed out & died. Hope this helps

Yep i tried it too in my 125 and the bigger of the 2 won out. You can have like a Lawnmower blenny and a Bi-Color Blenny But the red lip, bi-color are probly just too similar. Good luck! Todd

I have an 80 gallon tank and have had 2 midas blennys in it for almost 4 months now. They are total buddies and love to play with each other. Their favorite pastime is playing hide in seek in the rock work and the barnacles.
