Can someone ID these??

These white dots have been appearing more and more in my tank recently. They start out nice and white and then fade to the colors of the rock after a week or so. Relatively flat and dont appear to be doing anything but sitting there. Should I be concerned? Any ideas what they are??

Look to be sponges to me , I have a rock that has about 15 or 20 of them on there. They seem to stay white and do better if they stay back in a dark place. Most of mine are back in a rock that has a cave in it, look cool like it's a sponge factory.

They are not snail eggs. I do agree with the sponges. But I know for a fact that they are not snail eggs.

Think they will grow any? They seem to be very prolific, but do not seem to get bigger, just more of them.
