Can someone tell me what this is?

I am pretty sure this is the red algea everyone is talking about but I am not sure, any help would be, well helpful

Cyano will certainly spread, and if it's on hair algea it's a 2-in-1 problem. Whatever caused the hair algea and cyano to show up could cause it to spread pretty quickly. I'd siphon it out with a turkey baster or when you do a water change. Do more frequent water changes and perhaps reduce your lighting cycle. That should stop the spread if you get this stuff out first.

Lawnmower blennies will eat hair algea. I had bad hair algea in mine so I threw in a couple emerald crabs and they eat it like crazy and they're fun to watch.

Watch the emeralds, I have a hitchicker anemome I'm trying to get to live and he stole the food right from him today. Little stinker....
