I was wondering if I could put two Surgeon fish together, if they are both different species?

I was going to get a ring tailed Surgeon Fish from North-western Australia. It would be small
3-4 cm (1.5in) and a Regal Hippo Blue tang. I have niether but really like both.

If anyone had info on these fish it would be greatly appreciated

Well - since the hippo and ring tailed look completely different your probalby ok anyway.
