I have a snowflake eel about 6 inches long and I'd like to know is it possible for it to live with either, a lobster, a horse shoe crab, an emerald crab, or a cleaner shimp?
I have a snowflake ell in my tank and I have every ting in my tank. What I do is spot feed him krill or fish once a day. In year of having him he has only killed a peppermint shrimp because he was going after same food. My fire shrimp litterly lives on my snowflake eels head. Snowflakes are very dumb and have bad eye sight. There are no guarantee. But in my exp never had problem as long as u keep him full
Not sure about the Lobster. Once the Horseshoe Crab is out of it's juvenile state and gets to two feet long it will be immune to anything the Snowflake can do.
I had a SFE that took less than a day to kill and eat a 6" horseshoe crab. SFE primarily eat crustaceans in the wild, so it's all about your risk tolerance.
A 6" SFE is too small to eat anything but the smallest critters, but once they get some size on them, all that changes (I had one for 15 years).
