OMG!! I for once agree with Tang...(except on #3..I don't come here much anymore)
But the reason being is everyday there are 100 threads about the exact same thing....
Its not like -- and the search feature is locked almost every hour of the day.
I mostly post on my local reef forum now..Nothing against n00bs, we at one time or another n00bs, but damn dig a little bit, instead of cluttering up the board with the same questions..Also while I am ranting, when you start a thread about wanting to add a fish to your tank (not pointing any fingers) and 99% of people tell you it wont work and give good advice and reasons why it won't, Dont come back wanting a crying shoulder and start a new thread on why it went wrong...
I agree Tang can be brash at times (98%) but I am starting to understand where he is coming from..

You take this ---- to heart don't you bro? Who the ---- cares?!? Let people post whatever they want and let the person asking the question check the reliabilty of the answer. Does it really bother you THAT much that the same question may be asked more than once. What if I post pictures and it's a similar problem as a previous post, and my pics prove that the treatment for each posted problem is differant. And some comments are unnecessary. Welcome to the internet.
Just use the site for what it's for. Get the knowledge you need in the best way you see possible. And if it's better than the way I get my info, good for you. I mean, does this ---- (all you've complained about) really bother you that much?!?

I use the term n00b beacause its ingrained in my speech..I have played games Semi-Pro and UT prof. since about 99 or so....
Whats the sad and lame part of it..Is that you took the time to try and take shots at me for speech, when you type in all caps..

Simple solution to all problems...
1. if you are so unhappy with everything that goes on here, don't visit the message boards.
2. If you don't like seeing repetitive posts, don't read them.
3. If you don't have anything nice to say about certain posters, don't say anything at all.
4. If you can't spell, come to my 4th grade classroom

With all of the things going on in our world today, if the message boards are my biggest concern, then I am having a great day.

But really..When I get on here, and I am not bashing people that are new(n00bs) don't get me wrong...But seeing the same question asked 50 times a day, when more than likely the answer can be found in the search feature in a faster fashion , then starting a new thread..Also when it comes up over and over and over some people tend to shy away from the thread..Thats all I am saying..Everyone had to start somewhere at that somewhere is square 1. I am not afraid to give good advice if able..I hit new post when I 1st logged on about an hour ago, and saw 5 threads that were pretty much the same question..not going to name threads or point fingers..but I do see both side to the argument..

Some people let their post count get to their head, but most people here don't, there is a lot of knowledge and experience here. And anyone who threats a new hobbyist like crap needs to get off of their pedestal.

I had to look above and see mine....lol I can believe I have that many...
I have seen members post there 1st post and was blown away...Post count is stupid...If Robert Fenner logged on right now and posted he would have 1 post..
