I know this is a really stupid question. LOL! But can you dethaw a cube of frozen food, and keep it in a tupperware dish filled with saltwater in the fridge for a few days? I've never done this, but if it's ok to do I am going to start. LOL! Thanks!

Absolutely. I usually put a cube or two in my usual tupperware container, add some tank water to thaw it out. But I don't always use it all so I put it right back in the fridge for the next night. Now I don't know about leaving it in there for 'days', but it should be treated like any other edible food in regards to "fridge lifespan", but I would give it a little more priority.

yeah, its fine. I have done this method for about a year now. Ill put multiple cubes in the baster and sometimes leave them in the fridge for up to three days when I would get really lazy, with no ill effects. Only dont use foods with algae in them to do this with. the algae goes bad in a couple hours. or at least it dosnt look right to me. that said, I no longer do this because Im sure the food isnt as great two days later, but I still do it occasionally when lazy and only for over night.
