can you put a shark in a 100 gallon tank?the tank is 60 long 18 wide 23 deep...also what kind of sharks would be a good aquarium shark?

NO NO NO NO NO!!!! Take Fishy's advice and research sharks before thinking about buying one. I wouldn't put even the smallest shark in anything less than 300 gallons. I think many of the shark experts on this site would agree.

No, no shark or ray can go in a tank that is 100 gallons. I would not put a shark into any tank that was not at least 400 gallons, and no ray in a tank that was not at least 200 gallons.

400 gallons for a shark and 200 for a ray is on the extreme side, but safe side. You can however house a bamboo in a 200 for a few years but always remember the bigger tank the better,, i beleive thats for any fish,, not only sharks and rays..
But the one thing that you absolutly cannot do is house a shark in a 100 gallons...thats very bad
