By good i mean, it will live in my system
I have a 75gallon with 65lbs of LR and crushed coral. I have two 175 metal halides with 12000k bulbs. I plan on adding some PCs when I can afford it (might be a while, i ahve tuition to pay)
water parameters are all 0 and nitrates are 5
not many fish, all small. pretty low bio load.
Im looking for something to add color to the liverock. I ahve some star polyps and some muchrooms that are doing well and reproducing like crazy.
I dont want anything ugly. (just cause its easy to care for doesnt mean that it is pretty.)
I am willing to feed the corals if it is necessary.
thanks!
Pictures of corals would also be great!

Ill keep that in mind. I feed my LR plankton and stuff like that. Im talking about feeding a piece of krill to an elegance coral or something like that.

i Think Open Brain Coral would be good but u might need more intense lighting. Unless u set him up more on the top for the most intense.
Or if u get some really intense lighting get some Acropora.

You have 350 Watts of light, you can keep most things in your tank. You really need to add some 02 actinic, though. As far as corals go, I'd recommend leathers. There are some pretty sweet looking ones, they're fairly inexpensive, and extremely easy to keep. HTH

I agree with the above reply, leathers are definately an all-around good choice. They are easy to care for as well as diverse in color and appearances. I have an umbrella that is salmon colored, a "hairy-finger" leather that is purple, and a yellow with orange spotted "devil's hand" leather. Another good choice in my opinion is frogspawn. Since you don't mind feeding I can suggest carnation coral as well. Good luck whatever you decide on!

I feed my LPS corals fresh saltwater shrimp. well pieces of them.
for a beginner coral . .
leathers are nice looking, many LPS are hard to keep alive in less established reef tank. I like zooanthids. they are great, cover the ground and there are soo many to choose from. you can feed them, but i have not noticed a difference between not feeding and feed them. my tnak does have a lot od suspended critteres for them to munch on.
