i have some salt by jungle for tropical fish and goldfish. it is crystals. is this the same as the salt we use for saltwater normally? or is this no good and should only be used for saltwater?
My *guess* would be that it is different.
Marine aquarium salt is mixed with all the various trace elements found in sea water.
Read the ingredients of your salt. Does it list a bunch of trace elements?

Not necessarily. It is aquarium salt. And we are keeping saltwater aquaria. It is a perfectly reasonable question. I have heard people ask about using table salt in a saltwater aquarium.
