I get a candy anemone today. I just want to know beside the light, what food should I feed it? Does brine shrimp work?
Thanks.

I think you mean "Condy" anemone, or Pink Tip Haitian (sp. Condylactis)
First off, these corals are extremely aggressive so don't place them near anything. I had one eat one of my fish, some hermits, 2 peppermint shrimp, etc. I've also read on this forum and others that many people have a lot of problems with these anemones.
Anyways, you can feed them mysis or brine. I used to feed mine weekly with mysis or live baby brine and occasionally a feeder shrimp when I was feeding my duncans. They'll eat just about anything you offer. Mine did fine in two different tanks, one with T5HO lighting and one with just PC. They're a fairly hardy anemone.

Thank you. BTW, how do you feed them? should I turn off the powerhead and put the food where they can reach?

what i do is just hand it a piece of shrimp towards the middle of it and it will grab it right away. they are very aggressive and will move a lot until its happy. but my clown fish enjoy it as a home!!!!

meatier foods man, condys and other anemones like foods like krill, clam, sometimes squid, and silverside bellies. Put it near the center of the anemones oral disk, or mouth lol. you can use your hand to just place it there, or use some feeding tongs if that bothers you

I feed mysis shrimp for the most part, just place it right on the mouth. I know someone said above that they have clowns hosting in their Haitian Anemone, just know that this is NOT the norm. Most clowns will not take to a condy, so if that's why you bought it, don't be surprised if it doesn't happen.
