candy cane coral

well i just bought a candy cane and i was wondering if they were able to be fragged. i am not sure because of the hard skeleton. also how do they grow?? does it form new parts of its skeleton or do the individual pieces just get bigger?

The can be fragged by breaking off branches. They grow larger as polyps and add additional branches over time. It is, IMO, a good choice. It's a tough coral.

thanks OPHIRUA. i got a pretty good deal on the candy. 40 bucks for about 6-10 polyps. ill post a pic when i get home later.

Hiya,
I've had mine for about 2 months now, paid $20 for three heads. Well, it's in the process of splitting two of it's heads!!! I'm so excited, my first coral to reproduce!
