Candy Cane?

I have just noticed the the "heads" of my candycane are falling off....does this mean it is dying?

Can you see the skeleton of the coral coming through the flesh. If so it may be dying. What else do you have in the tank and what are your tank parameters?

well its like the flesh is just releasing and falling off alltogether leaving just the skeleton. i have a few zoos and a leather and some shrooms in the tank as well. parameters are in check but phosphates is a little high.

Do you run carbon at all? It could be chemical warfare from some of your softies, especially the leather.

i do run carbon but it is due to be changed. thank you for your response.i have been doin some reading seems leathers canbe a little bit nasty. Again thanks.
