Candy Coral Questions

I recently purchased a candy coral frag from my LFS. Just wondering, for those of you who keep them, what your experience has been? How fast do they grow? This frag only has one head on it. Also, I was told medium lighting and medium flow. Does this hold true for your experiences? Thanks.

My Candy Canes like the light. I keep them high in the tank.

For the most part they do well in moderate to high lighting and moderate current.......they will extend feeding tentacles and do well with ocassionaly direct feedings of meaty type foods. They seem to be a slow grower but will expand/develope new heads over time.....
Best of luck with yours. The one I kept suffered when a heater stuck and the temp went near 90's ...it never recovered and became one of my few corals casulaties!
