Canister Filter

So I am looking at doing an upgrade and not to sure what I want or need so I am looking for suggestions. I currently run a RENA XP2 canister filter rated for 75gal which is the tank size I have. I have started to add corals to my tank and I am getting a little nervous about the size of filter. Does anyone have any suggestions on switching to another brand for ex...fluval, marineland etc...or possibly a refug. Any help or suggestions from your experience would be helpful. Any canister better then the other in your opinions?

I run an exp 3 on my 125 gal. FOWLR. it is IMO a pretty good canister filter. It pulls out a lot of junk. Maybe not top notch, but theres no need in replacing it with another canister filter. A good 20 gal. long would make a nice fuge for your 75. Keep the canister and use both is my opinion.

I second wattsupdoc's opinion.
I have a fluval 305 that I use and I am currently building a sump/fuge. Basically my canister filter adds about 300gph flow to the DT, and I can run some carbon in it a few days out of the month and some phosphate remover if needed.
Just be sure to clean out the canister filter every couple weeks or at least monthly. I clean my every two weeks.

i have a 125 and i have two 360 marineland canisters on each side and they work great. they are rated up to a 100 gallons each so you would only need one. i have a reef the canisters pull out alot of stuff. plus they have 4 trays. the bottom tray is a prefilter pad, third tray is carbon if you want to use carbon, the second tray is bio balls, top tray is ceramic rings. then on the top it has a polyfiber pad to catch the little debris. the 360 runs about 200 bucks each.

I have a fluval 405 and a mag 350. I hate my mag 350 I think im going to toss it. I just picked up a protein skimmer and a wet dry system system. Thats all I will run for my future coral setup plus power heads.
