Hi All,
I am having a canopy built and not sure which way to vent the heat
coming from the lights.
My tank domensions 72.5X24.5X29
I am using 4 96 watt PC's.
Is it best to push or pull the heat and what kind of fans to use?
Thanks for the help!

I use computer fans. If you check around the internet you can find them cheap and with a power adapter from rad shack its a cheap, good way to run fans. If you dont want to use an adapter rad shack sales ac powered fans that are more costly, but easier to wire and if your running only one or 2 may be a cheaper route.

Do it just like your PC in one side and out the other! two fans with one blowing air out and one blowing air in.
When you look for fans look for DB to see how loud they are. You can go to www.allstarshop.com and get some cheep.

If the back of the canopy is open its better to have all of them blowing in....If its not open then I suggest you have two blowing in on the sides and two blowing out on top..
Better to open up the back, BEST to loose the canopy and use pendants. The canopy is a heat trap no matter how many fans you use. Its best to either hang the canopy or use hanging pendants.
