I found an oak finished ProQuatics Canopy for my 55 for $79. I think this is a good deal, but I'm wondering how to keep the hinges from rusting, or if this is even a concern. Thanks.

I had the same problem with the canopy lid lifting supports. I started out with brass since that was all i could find but they soon became rusting. I finally found some stainless steel ones and they work a lot better.

Just go to a marine boat supply store and buy stainless steel.
