Can't find an Eheim 2227/2229 replacement pump head anywhere...

When I plug the filter in, it makes no noise at all so the pump must have gone bad. I saw it at a couple online places for around 150 bucks, but it said "discontinued" beside the item.
Does anyone online carry them, or does this mean I have to sell or throw out the rest of my 2227?

Most places I looked showed them discontinued, but check out seacorals.net.... They list them but for that price would opt a different route personally.

I saw the whole filter at seacorals, but not just the pump head. I actually emailed them a few days ago and they said it was discontinued and can only be ordered directly from eheim.
I did manage to find it at aquariumplants.com. I sent them an email and they also said it was discontinued, but their supplier has one more left and they'll get it if I place an order.
Now I'm debating whether I should spend $150 on this or just say the heck with it. I still have the box it came in and I only paid $209 for the entire thing when it was new. It's just biological filtration and I have lots of live rock and decent water flow. I just hate to throw away the rest of the filter.
Does anyone have experience with aquariumplants.com? Are they reliable? What would you do in this situation?

It's built into the unit. There are two baskets for biological media and the pump is in the top of the unit like a canister filter. It's wet/dry so the water level rises and falls inside the unit and sends out pulses of water through a spray bar on intervals.
All I have is this and a Fluval 404 on a 75 gallon tank. I keep mostly carbon in the Fluval and a little biological in one of the chambers. I also have a couple submerged pumps for water flow blowing on the live rock.

Your probably gonna have to buy the whole unit, bit I'd try contacting Eheim directly and see if there's a replacement.
