Can't get calcium lvl 2 stay low enough!!!

Every time I do a water change my calcium lvl goes threw the roof and everything closes up. My salinity is 1.025 should I lower it to try and bring the calcium lvl down. Small 1.023 salinity water changes or lower? The calcium lvl is 580. Alk 3.2. Thanks

Do you test you new saltwater before you do a water change? What's the calcium level?
If you can keep an Alkalinity of 3.2 Meq/L then that Calcium level is fine.

ya know I never have checked the new water just the salinity. The alk is def around 3.2. All my coral is closed up and everything else is fine so this has to be the problem.

I can't figure it out lost 2 corals now maybe a disease of some sort?

What brand salt? What type of test kit? How old is the test kit? Have you had your numbers double checked against someone elses test kit?

Have you tested Magnesium level as well?
