Hmm, never heard of copper power, and am guessing you will find the rid ick useless. What exactly is copper power? Are you treating the fish in your display tank or a quarantine? Did you test the copper to assure the correct levels? If you treated them in your display and went by the manufacturers recommended dosage without testing the levels, it most likely was all absorbed, rendering it ineffective. I would suggest a cycled qt tank, Cupramine (a non-chelated copper that is safer than chelated coppers), and a good copper test kit (make sure it fits the copper-chelated or non) used daily to assure the correct level is reached and maintained. Good Luck

I have, or had ick and I used hypo. Been in there for almost 2 weeks and all signs are gone off the fish. Still have a week and a half to go but that is probably your best bet to completely get rid of it.

move fish to quaranteen tank, If you have one set up already. hypo the tank and let the display tank sit empty of live stock for 6 weeks and the ick will die off. if no q/t then that is out of the question. you do not want to hypo a display with liv rock still in it. Or you can take all the rock out and store it in a tub with water, powerheads and a heater for 6 weeks till the tank is good to go. Just my .02.
SEP or BETH should be the best for info on ick.

There are countless threads/stickies on this that tell how to easily remove ich without the use of medication. Just do a search.

I'd read up on ich; IMO, a good understanding of this parasite is vital for any hobbiest. Knowing the ich life cycle will also make the treatment options make more sense. There are always new remedies on the market; but so far, I don't have any faith in any of them. There is no easy way and (IMO & IME) only copper ,(I like Cupramine, like Kostanza suggests) or hypo (not that there's anything wrong with it
) really work. Here's some reading on ich:https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/127007/faqs-fish-diseases-treatments-quarantine-health-info
