I have the exact same problem. I let my skimmer exhause drip over bioballs and everything.
Can't get rid of Micro Bubbles. Any ideas

I have that exact same setup. With my W/D bio-balls on the left side and sump on the right this is what I did. Imagine looking down from above your W/D's sump. In a clockwise fashion with each of the four corners being 1-4 with the upper left being 1, upper right being 2, lower right being 3 and lower left being 4, this is how I have mine setup and I have no bubbles. For reference the foam filter runs from corner 1 to 4.
I have my skimmer's output pointing into corner 4 literally rolling down the inside of the sump onto the foam filter inside the sump. I have my mag 7 intake in corner 2.
