Can't get sun coral to open

I've had this sun coral for about 6 days now and the polyps wont open even at night for me to feed? I've been feeding them anyway hoping they would get a bite.
Does anyone have experience with them on how to get them to open?

It may take a few weeks but turn all the circulation off and turkey baste some brine shrimp each evening and let it sit on it. After a few weeks when it becomes accustom to when feeding time occurs it will open. Where is it located? It needs a very high flow area it which to thrive. You also may want to consider removing it to a plastic container to feed.

Try cutting the bottom out of a 2 liter soda bottle, and placing it over the coral head. Squirt some food in there and it will stay put long enough for the guys to open and eat.
After a while they will open as soon as you place the bottle on them...it's kinda cool.
