We just took the light off, again. No luck, unless I hear back from coralife, I guess I will have to hang it. Thanks for all the help!

I bought the larger picture and they are side mount. Unless I am realllly stupid, it isn't a true track on the side. It is a groove but like I said the top of the groove is rounded.
That groove is the track. The legs have a weird little metal twist thing that goes in that groove...looks a little like a pinwheel, the legs attach to that and the screw holds it all together.
