Ok so ive decided to waste some money and put a car stereo system in my ford ranger.
Now my truck isnt an extended cab so its gonna take some work... im building a custom box for my subs and im mounting my two amps underneath the seats.
Now tell me if you think this seems like a good set up
For subs
1 audiobahn a8000t mono channel amp running 2 4 ohm rockford fosgate stage two 8" punch subs at 2 ohms for the proper 200w rms
1 audiobahn a4004t 4 channel amp running 2x infinity reference component speakers with crossovers and 2x infinity reference without crossovers for the rear.
I have a nice kicker wiring kit and battery terminal with a kickin audiobahn Capacitor for 2 amps.
I"m looking forward to putting it in soon... .but can someone tell me what the crossovers do on the component set?

i would if i could afford the W7s... but at 249 bucks for one 8" sub no thanks...
rockfords are my best choice right now...
i had some kickers picked out buyt they run dual voice coils... if im gonna be running two DVC 4 ohm subs on a one channel amp then the amp would have to be 1 ohm stable... which mine is not. so rockfords are my best choice.
