Carb Identification?

I have a brownish crab, It was on my live rock that I got a few months ago. I moved 3 months ago and thought it must have died because I did not see it in the live rock or anywhere. Today I just found it again, it had made a sort of cave unrder my rocks.
I am wondering what kind it is? Its about an ich big, and looks brownish with red eyes. I had seen it at night breaking off small pieces of rock etc. It does not seem to bother my peppermint shrimp who sleeps about 2 inches from it, but it does sometimes knock over some of my smaller live rocks. Anyone know what type this might be? How big do they get? I dont have any pics, sorry.

It's only an inch across and is knocking over your live rock and breaking pieces off?
Sounds like you've got one tough little crab there!!!
I wish you had a picture...

I have a hermit that juggles my LR...rolls over onto the back of its' shell and tosses it around. Freakishly strong. (It's also huge, but the rock is twice its size at *least*)
