Carbon - looking for large pieces

I was wondering if anyone knows of a company that makes carbon that is larger in size that the 'typical'? Maybe half the size of marbles? (Seachem, Kent, Eheim, Blue Life, etc.) ? Thanks!

Culligan water sells a carbon block..in a cylinder, tube in and tube out sort of thing. I have one on my RO water system. However marble size..

Like jackri, I would like to know why you want that size as well.

Why such big pieces if I may inquire?
I want to put them into one of my baskets in my canister filter, I do NOT want to use a 'sock' and I do not want them to be 'tossed around' or to free float with the pressure. I guess the size of an Advil would be fine. Just do not want want the little 'flake/chip' size I see a lot of.

I use a reactor with my charcoal and use high quality ROX.

I could tell a huge difference in clarity in just a day, it's amazing how clear you "think" your water is until you run it.

Big pieces of carbon will be much less effective than an equal quantity of smaller pieces---less surface area. I prefer Chemi-Pure, a carbon based product that comes in its own bag, Reasonably priced, especially when you buy online in quantity, and it lasts about 6 months. IMO, most of the carbon (not made by major aquarium supply companies) is worthless. Not just any carbon is good for hobbiest use. If its shiny, it fits the "worthless catagory".
