carbon....sump?

Do you just get a bag of carbon and drop it in your sump?
I used to have a 29 gallon and I would just drop it in the HOB filter...
im after that "crystal" clear look in my new tank..haha

Works best in a reactor were you can control the flow.

Yes you can but try to put it in a position where the water has to go through it.

Just a word of caution. Make sure you place your bag of carbon in an area of good flow as Henry suggests but also make sure It can not work its way over the suction side of your pump

In this case from experience, not specifically from the use of carbon but from using the media holding bags. In any event from personal experience or information received by word of mouth it is something to be addressed
