CARBON???

So I know that they say carbon can cause HLLE but it clears water and takes out toxins. So my question is how many people use carbon and how many don't and if you don't what do you use?

I run carbon. I think the key is running a good carbon that specifically calls out on the on the packaging that it is phosphate free. I use chemi pure elite. I don't believe there is a definitive answer as to what causes HLLE.

I run carbon in the 29G....chemi-pure elite in the 225G and the 54G

I realize that there isn't one thing that causes HLLE but ive read articles that have said that it can have a impact on it. I like the phosphate free thats a good point.

yeah there is a list of things....don't forget...poor water quality, poor feeding, and stray voltage....so get a grounding probe....make sure your water is pristine, and get GOOD quality foods

google it.....every hear of stray voltage.....well a grounding probe prevents that.....
