Career change

If you can get in and work under a good Master it can be a rewarding career if you stick with. Oh but you will pay your due's as a plumbing apprentice lol. HVAC might be a slightly quicker way to better money and working on your own if you're willing to put yourself through some classes and get yourself certified. It really just depends who you work for and what type of work you do in a particular trade which is going to depend on how much money you;re going make. Stay away from building maintenance dude. I did it for a little bit when I first moved down here out of necessity, but I used it to get my foot in the door doing HVAC work. It's good experience, but you're never really going to make good money doing hotel or apartment work. Factories, refineries, and government work doing maintenance pay decent, but that's about it.

A couple buddies of mine just got their master plumbers licenses. They have apprentices now. I have to wait my turn. I thought about hvac too. Good money in that as well.

She could be born any day now. Just don't know. We go to the doc this afternoon to maybe get a more accurate due date or set an induce date. Personally, I would be happy if my daughter and I shared a march 17th birthday. But that may or may not happen.
When the time comes, I'll post a thread. :)

LOL...an induce date was set for my daughter a month in advance. The doctors here don't like surprises. I didn't think anyone went to have their babies without being induced anymore. I know 8 young women including my own daughter, and all of them were induced.

My sister's kids always came on the day she was supposed to be induced. She would go to the hospital and like clockwork her labor would start to progress naturally.

That would be sweet!! I too am a St Patrick's day Birthday!! I was always told growing up that March 17th was a super cool day for a bday. Did not truly realize it until I was an adult.
I hope everything goes well for you and your wife when the baby comes!!!

Well, we are at the hospital right now. It might be some more false labor. They are going to make sure though. If it is, then thy are going to send her home and I'll go back to work. My wife will probably stay with her mom for today, just so that she will be with someone.
Contractions are ten minutes apart right now on average. The nurse said that it could be later today or even next week. Just don't know yet.
