I like the way you think. That is the setup I would do.
The 20k and 14 are pretty white aren't they? Or am I backwards?

i thought it will look color but then i did some more research and decided thanks to Mr. X (Doug) ima do 2 14k MH 175w and 2 54w t5 super actinic UV according to the place.

well guys here are diagrams of how it will look in the canopy. tell me if sonmething wrong in it? both pics are the same.
were it says 9 moonlights its nine bulbs lol sorry not nine pack

Looks good Carlos, Doug is steering you right IMO the two 14k lamps will look nice. And IMO actinic supplementation is a must for that POP in color.

yea Henry, Doug has been a great help. Helping me out with this tank and light! i was gonna do the 20k and 14k but after what he told me
"i would choose the same color halides for both sides of the tank, and if you are going with the hello lights retro, get the UVL super actinics.
i'd pick something 14k or less for the daylights."
i kinda agree with the 14k and add the actinic to get the amazing color! but i will have to figure a way to fit the t5 48" since my canopy is 48" as well. but im sure it will fit! thanks Henry!
also i got my 20g refugium kit and im waiting for the tank to build it! gonna take pics when i get them both!
so excited about this tank!

5 4x4 8 foot long
1 plywood forgot the thickness
the black paint lol
and 4 inch wood screws
when we started

when we finish cutting the design

done with the stand. well almost need to get the 20g (which i got today) to add more support.


painted the back black

and the 20g long for the refugium

Looking good, and for your tang you should get a Poon Tang.. LOL
