i have a orange carnation and dont know much about it. i know it is a hard to keep coral. but ive had it for a couple months and its doing fine. just not growing at all. am i supposed to hang it upside down!? and i have 196 pcs on a 29 gallon(14 inches high) should i put it under a over hang?
any info on this coral from someone who has one will be greatly appreciated

They are a very misunderstood coral. There is nothing I can say that hasnt been said already about them but I would disagree that they are difficult to keep. They seem to vary greatly from one specimen to the next for lighting tolerances. I generally keep them either shaded or completly under but they wind up growing into the light and it always makes me nervous but doesnt seem to bother them.
Mine are always hungry. If your keeping carnations in your tank I would suggest first finding your tanks tolerances for food without overfeeding or sacraficing water quality.
