carpet anemone and angel

just curios if anyone else has had this problem. my angels are gaining up on the carpet anemone. i watch them at night and they are both picking at the under side of it. will this eventually stop, or should i remove the anemone. already lost my blue jaw trigger do to carpet getting to him. would hate to lose any of my angels to him as well.

The angels are smart, they are eating it where there are no stingers. I'd pull it out or it will be food or an angel will be food. That or put in more sand if thats possible to further bury the foot.

does your anenome have host clowns to protect it?

there are a pair of gold stripes in there but they don't go near it.
they were the reason i bought it, was told it was their host with the previous owner.
