I'm angry and am getting rid of my carpet anenome. Flamehawk was my favorite fish and I had him for over 3 years. Now I may have to change my board name too.
Sorry for your loss. Carpets are known for taking out fish. mine has taken out a few fish in my tank(including a 6 in hippo tang. Grr!), and tried to trade him in at the LFS, but they wouldn't take him. They are kind of cool though.
I was feeding my pink tip last night - my flamehawk dove straight into the anemone and stole the krill - I couldn't believe it! No ill effects though, he seems to be fine. Got a nice meal out of it!
Sorry for your loss, I do a fish count every morning since I got a carpet. I really like the carpet but it's starting to worry me the way my royal gramma hangs out around it all the time.
