Cascade 1500

I have a small question. I have a cascade 1500 on my 75 gallon tank. the problem is that for some reason every once in a while it spits out a crap load of micro bubbles. Like 4 times an hour. I have done everthing i can think of to eliminate this but it just wont stop. The pumps makes a gargling sound then out comes the bubbles... I have disconnected the filter, changed all of the media inside, refilled with SW and then let it set for like an hour to make sure all air was out of the canister, i have also ran a small bead of silicone around the gasket area ( when item was shipped it had a small leak so i siliconed it, makes things a little hard for filter maintenance but it works ) i am really starting to loose faith in my cascade. Everybody that i have asked for their opinions said it was a great choice of filter, but i have all kinds of flaoties in my tank, plus the micro bubbles..
Any opinions
Also should a brain coral be placed on a rock or on the sand bed.....

I got tired of the bubbles so i moved it to my sump.. I HATE BUBBLES...so now the water in the sump will be extremely clean and very well airated before returning back to the DT..

Well i think i have it figured out.. it is because there is air inside the canister.. possibly from when i resealed the thing or from when it first starts up it released the air into the water and then it gets sucked up back inside the filter therefore creating another air pocket and the stage all over again. So what i done was primed the pump, and the outlet of the cascade let it spill into a bucket for a few seconds letting all of the air out and whatever deposits might be in the line upon startup. then after about 15 seconds place the outlet back into the tank.. whola no air bubbles... Man im getting good at this...
