cat shark

Would a banded cat shark be compatible with a king angel? The angels about 7 inches long, and hes in a 150 gallon. I want to get a shark egg, but the angel is pretty aggressive. Does anyone think this will work?

Do you mean an emperor angel? Anyway, better not try it. I heard that angels might nip at sharks. Maybe someone else might know better.

Do you mean Queen Angel? Either way I don't recommend putting sharks in with Angels unless it is a very large tank.

i wouldnt recomend it, angels are pretty aggresive twords sharks, i had a french angel and he wouldnt leave my sting ray alone, so it got bad enouph were my ray wouldnt eat then it died, so i got a lil pissed and put tha angel in a bucket for a night will no pumps so it died in there... o well. so then i got my bamboo shark, and all the books i read say dont put triggers or angels with sharks because of stress, and ther all very terretorial.. im saying a little fight over territory, and were talking a blood bath..

I would not recommend it as well. Of course I keep a niger trigger with my sharks and rays with no problems as of yet, but I can get rid of it at any time I choose.
