any one have one. I know they are cold water goby. I would love one for my seahorse tank.

never mind, I think my tank is still to warm even with a chiller.

I had one that lasted for about a month. It was an impluse buy and I knew nothing about them at the time. They look cool though, kind of reminded me of spiderman.

Whats the temp of your seahorse tank? I have seen them at the public aquariums and they are really pretty.

Stick a ten gallon tank in a fridge with some sand/rocks and a one of those push button lights. Then you would be all set.

You heard correctly. I broke down my tanks about 18 months ago to take an extensive out of town contract....plus, I wanted a break. This last February, I got my cold system back from the guy that I sold it to since he was moving. I'm now looking to increase its size in the next few months and evolve past the experimental stage..

May I ask where you got your grunt sculpin from and what the collection temperature was, if you knew.
I thought it would be easy to run across some from locals (but, they don't seem to be a popular bycatch). We now looking into permits to go get them ourselves.

I collected mine at a Puget Sound dive site called Skyline Wall....just off Anacortes. Water temp was 57 F. There are quite a few in that area for some reason.
