I just started using this and I want to know if any of you who actually use it dose your tank with anything?
I currently do not dose my tank at all so I am wondering about changing to this type of water if I need to.
I don't dose either, I simply mix up RO water with salt in a 26G trashcan in my garage. Your salt will have everything you need in it. For fish-only tanks, go with Instant Ocean, for reef tanks, use Reef Crystals or something like that.
I know how to mix salt and I use Oceanic or Tropic Marine when I use salt.
Catalina water is natural ocean water and I am questioning if anyone who uses it adds anything to it....like trace elements or anything like that.
